Maryville scored three straight midway in set two to build a 15-10 edge. The Saints kept that cushion until closing with a rush. Up 21-16, they tallied four straight to end the set. After a Fischer kill, Mortimer followed. CSC had a ball handling error before Michael Guevarra served an ace at game point. The Saints blitzed CSC with a .600 hitting percentage with 14 kill on just two errors and 20 attempts.

The Saints had their lowest hitting percentage of the night as the Wildcats edged the Saints in set three to force the fourth. A CSC error sparked a quick 4-0 burst for Maryville. Luke Van Handel hammered in a kill, and after a Wildcat miscue, he tacked on another for a 7-2 lead. After one point by Culver-Stockton, the Saints reeled off three straight points.
