St. Louis, Mo. – The Maryville volleyball team hit .248 while holding McKendree to just a .053 mark and swept the Bearcats 25-19, 25-14, 25-19 Saturday afternoon. Three Saints had nine kills apiece, while
Taylor Hasbrook recorded a match-high 18 digs and
Hanna Dressing recorded a season-high five blocks to pace the defensive efforts.

Caroline Glastetter had a kill to spark a 5-0 run. The Bearcats got as close as 16-13 before
Grace Knadler cranked in a kill that ignited a 5-0 burst as the Saints jumped ahead 22-13. The Bearcats made a late push but a block by Dressing and
Ella Brinkmann ended the set.

Set two saw the Saints up 15-13 before ripping off nine straight points to take command.
Taylor Keck began the run with a kill before an ace by
Olivia Klump. Klump would serve seven more points, capped by another ace for a 24-13 lead. A Keck kill closed the set at 25-14.

Maryville edged ahead in set three with a 9-8 lead and scored six straight points. Brinkmann and Glastetter bookended the run for a 15-8 advantage. The Saints pushed their margin to as many as nine points at 19-10 and closed out the contest on a block by Brinkmann and Knadler.

Brinkmann, Glastetter and Graham led the Saints with nine kills apiece. Brinkmann added 12 digs as she narrowly missed a double-double.
