Quincy, Ill. – The Maryville women's lacrosse team used a huge third quarter en route to a 14-9 victory at Quincy Wednesday night. The Saints outscored the Hawks 6-1 after halftime to overcome a two-goal deficit at halftime.
Reagan Rukstad scored four goals, while
Julia Banfield and
Skyler Jolie both notched hat tricks to boost the offense.

Quincy built a 6-4 lead at the break but Rukstad scored to open the third quarter.
Claire Martin tallied to tie the game, and Rukstad fired in a free position shot for a 7-6 edge. The Hawks tied the game but Banfield tallied twice, and Jolie's goal was good for a 10-7 cushion after three quarters.
Ronnie Skorcz began the fourth with a goal. The home squad pulled to 11-8 but the Saints answered with three straight scores to clinch the win.
