St. Louis - The Maryville women's tennis team blanked Purdue Northwest 7-0 in a contest conducted at Forest Park's Dwight Davis Tennis Center. The Saints took two of the doubles matches and swept all six singles clashes.

Georgina Cupper and
Victoria Lisson posted a 7-5 victory at No. 2 doubles.
Nicole Pafundi and
Maria Paula Suarez took their match at No. 3 to earn the doubles point for the Saints.

Playing No. 1 singles, Cupper worked for a 7-6 (6-4), 7-5 win, and
Carolina Velazquez took her No. 2 singles contest by a 6-4, 7-5 margin.
Emily Orlove rallied for a 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 in the third position, and
Maria Gouveia took her No. 4 singles match 7-6 (7-5), 7-5. Lisson won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 5, while Pafundi posted a 6-4, 6-1 triumph at the sixth singles slot.
