St. Louis – Playing its second straight top 10 team, the Maryville women's lacrosse team hosted No. 2 Indianapolis Thursday afternoon. The visiting Greyhounds outscored the Saints 9-0 in the first quarter and pulled away for a 23-2 win.
Lexi Taylor had a goal and one assist, while
Skyler Jolie tallied Maryville's second goal.

UIndy scored its first goal three minutes into the game before tacking on two more in short order. The Greyhounds kept the Saints off the scoreboard until Taylor tallied early in the second quarter to make it 10-1. Maryville slowed the Indianapolis attack a bit in the second as the Greyhounds went into halftime up 13-1. Jolie scored to open the fourth quarter but that was the final goal of the game for Maryville.
