Romeoville, Ill. - Emily Orlove went 2-0 on the day to guide the Maryville women's tennis squad to a 4-2 triumph Friday at Lewis University. The Flyers were ranked No. 67 in the latest ITA Poll.
 
Emily Orlove and Carolina Velazquez cruised to a 6-3 triumph at No. 1 doubles to get the Saints started. Georgina Cupper and Victoria Lisson worked for a tiebreak win in the second doubles slot 7-6 (10-5) to give Maryville the first point of the match.
 
Orlove won in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2 to bolster the action in singles play. Nicole Pafundi rolled in her match at No. 4 by a 6-0, 6-2 margin. Maria Gouveia helped close out the match as she took a straight set victory 6-3, 6-4 at the No. 6 position.
