St. Charles, Mo. – Despite three goals and an assists from
Reagan Rukstad, the Maryville women's lacrosse team lost a 20-10 decision to McKendree Friday afternoon. The Great Lakes Valley Conference game, originally slated to be at McKendree, was moved to Hunter Stadium on the campus of Lindenwood University.
Jessie Hynes found the back of the next twice for the Saints.

The Saints pulled even at 1-1 on a score by
Ronnie Skorcz. The Bearcats took a 3-1 lead before Rukstad fired in her first of three goals. However, McKendree tallied the next seven goals.
Lexi Taylor converted a free position shot as the Saints cut the deficit to 10-3 by halftime.

The Saints were unable to pull closer as the teams traded the next 11 goals. Hynes scored her second goal of the game to make it 15-8 but never got any closer the rest of the way. Rukstad completed her hat trick with two goals in the fourth quarter.
