St. Louis - The Maryville women's tennis team shutout Southern Indiana to claim a 4-0 victory Friday evening. Due to the cold weather, the match was moved indoors to the Vetta Sunset Tennis Center.
 
Emily Orlove and Carolina Velazquez battled for a 7-5 win at the No. 1 doubles spot, and Georgina Cupper and Victoria Lisson eased to a 6-1 win to hand the Saints the point for doubles.
 
In singles play, Velazquez won a three-setter at No. 2 as she claimed a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 victory. Orlove dominated her tilt at No. 3 singles by a 6-0, 6-1 score line. Lisson only lost one game in each set as she won her singles match at the fourth position 6-1, 6-1.
