Haidyn Pitsch drained five 3-pointers en route to 25 points but Quincy used a big fourth quarter to defeat Maryville women's basketball 84-78.
Carsyn Fearday and
Taylor Kirby both finished with 16 points and nine rebounds for the Saints.

Neither team led by more than seven points early into the third quarter. The Saints were down 51-50 but scored six straight points. Pitsch drained a triple, and
Carsyn Fearday scored on a layup. Fearday added two free throws as the Saints went up 57-51 with 1:43 left in the third. However, the Hawks tallied the final 10 points of the quarter to grab a 61-57 edge into the final 10 minutes.

After a QU bucket, Pitsch scored for Maryville but the Hawks sank consecutive 3-pointers for a 69-59 advantage. Mussorici converted two at the line, and
Taylor Kirby scored inside to pull the Saints to within 69-63. Pitsch kept the Saints in it with another triple to trim the QU lead down to 75-72. Fearday sank a jumper in transition to make it 79-76 with 1:45 to play but the Saints were unable to tie the game in the final minute.
