Indianapolis - Maryville University redshirt senior Joey Williams was selected the Great Lakes Valley Conference Wrestler of the Week as announced Tuesday, Jan 31. The Saints have earned the honor the last two weeks as Donavan Whitted was last week's GLVC Wrestler of the Week.
 
At 184, Williams won both of his matches last week, including a victory over No. 12 ranked Josh Jones of McKendree. Williams also shutout his Quincy opponent 10-0 to close out his week of action.
 
Williams and the Saints return to action Saturday, Feb. 4, when they travel to Indianapolis for the Greyhound Duals. Maryville faces King University, Glenville State and Kentucky Wesleyan.
