Missouri-St. Louis recap
Vass scored on the first possession of the game, and Kelvin Swims followed with a jumper for a quick 4-0 lead. The teams traded the lead but Maryville went back ahead 18-15 on a Ben Palacios jumper with just under nine minutes left in the half. UMSL retook the lead, and two free throws by Tutu Chisholm brought the Saints to within 23-22. The Tritons stretched their advantage to nine at halftime.

UMSL led 46-36 until the Saints tallied 10 straight points. Dylan Ingram drained a 3-pointer, and Vass drove for a layup. Davis Walker splashed in a triple, and two free throws by Harrison Vickers knotted the contest at 46-46 at the 15:16 mark. The Tritons inched back out in front before Vass' layup pulled Maryville to within 56-53. UMSL slowly took a 12-point lead before the Saints made one final push. Vickers drilled a trey from the top of the key, and Vass and Trey Redd had consecutive steals for layups as Maryville clawed to within 82-77 in the final minute. Colin Schuler scored on a reverse layup to make it 84-79 but the Saints never got the gap down to one possession.
