INDIANAPOLIS – Maryville men's soccer will travel to McKendree University to open the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 3:30 p.m. The Saints earned the fifth seed in the tournament after going 7-2-4 in conference and will take on the fourth-seeded Bearcats.
 
The Saints are looking to defend their 2022 GLVC Tournament Championship. They are additionally making their eighth consecutive appearance in the GLVC Tournament while McKendree earns its fifth appearance overall.
 
The two teams met back on Oct. 6, tying 0-0. Nick Hemann earned a four-save shutout in the match while his counterpart, Christian Herluf, shut out the Saints with one save.
 
Each of the four quarterfinal winners will advance to the GLVC Championship Tournament semifinals, which will be hosted at Corwin Clatt Stadium in East Peoria, Ill. The two semifinal contests will be played on Friday, Nov. 10, while the final will take place Sunday, Nov. 12.
