JP Homfeld was runner up at 133 to mark the day for the Maryville wrestling squad.
Homfeld started his day with fall at 6:56, and he followed up with another pin in just 3:27 to reach the finals. However, he dropped a 9-3 decision in the championship match.
Lucas Laux was also in the weight class and posted a fall in 5:45. He lost a 10-3 bout to eventual champion Matthew Chi.

Kody Ketchum lost his opening match at 141 but battled all the way back to the fifth place match. He recorded a 6-4 win then followed with a 16-2 major before dropping a match to dip into the fifth place match.
Brian Thorpe opened his tournament with a 13-1 major at 184 and followed up with a fall in 6:36. He lost in the semifinals and eventually finished in fifth place.

Jeremiah Larson took his opening match but was defeated by Kalob Runyon of Division I Northern Iowa. Larson took a 5-1 decision in the consolation draw and followed with a 4-1 win in his next match. He reached the fifth-place match before dropping his finale. In the heavyweights,
Ryan Herman shutout his quarterfinal foe 2-0 but lost to the top seed in the classification. He battled all the way back in the consolation bracket and took third place.
