Haidyn Pitsch poured in a career-high 31 points to guide the Maryville women's basketball team to an 84-75 road triumph at Southwest Baptist. She sank 12 of her 20 field goal attempts, including 5-of-7 from 3-point range to highlight the attack.
Antoinette Mussorici added 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds, and
Taylor Kirby chipped in 11 points and six boards.

The Saints scored the first two baskets of the second half to take a 35-34 lead. SBU answered and went back up 40-35. Maryville was still trailing 42-37 but surged with a 12-0 burst.
Carsyn Fearday started the run with a 3-pointer, and
Taylor Kirby followed with a bucket. Pitsch scored on a layup to put the Saints on top 44-42. Kirby tacked on layup, and
Madyson Rigdon drained a 3-pointer for a 49-42 lead. The Saints stayed out in front and were leading by double digits after another triple by Pitsch.

After taking a 62-55 lead early in the fourth, the Saints outscored SBU 9-3. Pitsch put up five points, Fearday sank two free throws, and a layup by
Faith Hawthorne gave the Saints their biggest lead of the day at 71-58. SBU got as close as seven points in the final minutes but Pitsch sank a big 3-pointer with just under two minutes to play to seal the win.
