UMSL recap
The Tritons led for most of the first half and were up 38-31 five minutes after halftime. Harrison Vickers and Trey Redd sank consecutive 3-pointers to pull the Saints to within one. After two UMSL free throws, Chisholm sank a layup and Ingram sank one free throw to forge a 40-40. He missed the second free throw but the Saints grabbed the rebound and Ingram drilled a 3-pointer from the top of the key to give the Saints a 43-40 led at the 9:42 mark.

Redd had a three-point play as the Saints extended their advantage to 49-44. Dewayne Vass made two free throws, and after an UMSL bucket, Palacios stopped any Triton momentum with a 3-pointer for a 62-52 lead with 1:58 remaining. Maryville converted seven of eight free throws down the stretch to put the game away.

The Saints had four players sink three 3-pointers apiece as Maryville hit half of its attempts from beyond the arc (12-of-24). The Maryville defense limited the Tritons to just 35.6 percent shooting.
