Sydney Tiemann fired in six goals, while
Reagan Rukstad recorded three goals and three assists as the Maryville women's lacrosse team flew past Quincy 19-8 in a nonconference game.
Jessie Hynes notched four goals and an assist, while
Julia Banfield finished with three goals and an assist.

Rukstad scored after just 31 seconds of action, the second fastest goal to start a game in program history, to give the Saints a quick 1-0 lead. QU equalized two minutes later but Hynes scored four straight times to ignite a 9-0 run. She found the back of the net at the 10:57 mark and scored three more times in just over six minutes. The Saints extended their margin to 8-1 on
Helen Bae's goal to close the first quarter.

Rukstad and Tiemann opened the second with goals before the Hawks closed the gap to 11-3. Bae, Banfield and Rukstad all tallied late for a 14-3 lead at halftime. Quincy made a small run to inch to within 15-6 by the end of the third. Tiemann responded by starting the final quarter with three straight goals as the Saints grabbed control of the contest.
