Clayton, Mo. – 
Victor Ganev drilled down 10 kills and hit .368 as the Maryville men's volleyball team won its third straight match with a 3-1 victory over Milwaukee School of Engineering Tuesday at Fontbonne. The Saints won by set scores of 25-18, 20-25, 25-18, 25-20. 
Jacob Fischer and 
Jayden Rookhuyzen both finished with eight kills. 
Cameron Chambers handed out 29 assists and completed a double-double with 14 digs.
 
MSOE recap                                   
The Saints blazed to a .409 hitting percentage to take the opening set. Up 10-8, the Saints took control with a 5-0 burst. An error by MSOE put the Saints up 15-8. The Raiders chipped away at the deficit and got as close as 20-18. However, Maryville reeled off the final five points to close the set, capped by 
David Fleischer's ace.
 
MSOE rebounded by taking set two. The Raiders used a 6-1 burst midway through the set to tie the score. The Saints answered back with their best defensive effort of the night in the third. Maryville's defense limited MSOE to a .000 hitting percentage in the third set. The Saints stormed out of the gate by tallying six of the first seven points for a 6-1 advantage. MSOE got as close as 11-9 but two kills and an ace put the Saints back on top 14-9. The Raiders pulled to within three before scoring the final four points for a 2-1 lead.
 
In the fourth set, Maryville's margin stood at 9-8 before three straight points built a 12-8 lead after a 
Jacob Fischer ace. MSOE closed to within two points but the Saints tallied three of the next four points to grab a 19-14 cushion. Up 23-20, Maryville closed out the match on a MSOE service error and a block by Fischer and Rookhuyzen at match point.
