St. Louis – The Maryville men's volleyball team hit .384, the second highest hitting percentage in program history, in a sweep of Culver-Stockton 25-17, 25-10, 25-16 Friday evening in Moloney Arena. 
Caden Klingbeil topped the team with 11 kills, while 
Drew Rogers came up with seven digs. 
Jacob Fischer finished with seven kills, five service aces and three blocks.

Leading 11-9 in the opening set, the Saints scored seven of the next eight points to take command. Klingbeil had a kill, and Fischer followed. Fischer tacked on another kill and served up an ace. Following a block by Klingbeil and 
David Fleischer, another ace by Fischer built a 17-10 lead. The Wildcats got as close as 21-16 but Maryville scored four of the last give points to win it.
 
Maryville opened set two by scoring the first three points. After a CSC point, the Saints reeled off 10 straight points. Klingbeil ignited the run with a kill, and Fischer served three of his aces during the spree. 
Cameron Chambers tipped in a kill for a 13-1 advantage. A 6-0 run sealed the win.
 
In the third set, Culver-Stockton led 12-11 before the Saints scored four straight. Rogers put down a kill, and Klingbeil served up an ace. After another kill by Rogers, 
Ethan Beyreis-Heim put down a kill for a 15-12 margin. Maryville was leading 17-14 but went on a 7-1 to stretch out the lead and finish the match.
