Findlay, Ohio – The Maryville women's lacrosse team rolled to its eighth straight victory with a 22-6 triumph at Findlay. The triumvirate of
Jessie Hynes,
Reagan Rukstad and
Sydney Tiemann all scored six goals apiece. The totals were career highs for both Hynes and Rukstad both reached career highs. The Saints defense did not allow a Findlay goal for nearly 28 minutes as
Jo Miles made seven saves and surrendered just four goals.

The Saints grabbed the first draw control and
Sydney Tiemann fired in a goal just 41 seconds into the contest. Findlay evened up the score but
Jessie Hynes and Tiemann scored 28 seconds apart for a 3-1 cushion. The Oilers pulled one back before Tiemann completed her hat trick at the 10:17 mark. Maryville won the next draw, and Hynes struck again for a 5-2 lead.
Up 5-3, Maryville scored the next seven goals to pull away. Rukstad sandwiched two goals around one from Tiemann, and
Skyler Jolie collected a ball in the middle and tucked it away. Rukstad scored to make it 10-3 after one quarter, and she opened the second with another score. Tiemann pushed the edge to 12-3. Tiemann, Rukstad and Hynes tacked on goals in the second as Maryville took a 15-4 lead into halftime.
The Saints tacked on four more goals in the third quarter, including three by Hynes, to carry a 19-4 advantage into the final 15 minutes. Maryville kept the Oilers off the scoreboard until the hosts scored in the second minute of the fourth quarter.
