St. Louis - The No. 37 Maryville women's tennis team rolled to a 7-0 victory over Ottawa Thursday morning. The match was played at WoodMill Racquet Club.
 
At No. 1 doubles, Billur Gonlusen and Carolina Velazquez rolled to a 6-1 triumph. In the second doubles slot, Victoria Lisson and Nazli Saka dominated in a 6-2 decision to clinch the doubles team point.
 
In singles, Gonlusen cruised in the No. 1 singles slot 6-0, 6-3, while Maria Paula Suarez was successful in a 6-2, 6-1 contest at No. 2. Emily Orlove rolled to a 6-2, 6-1 decision in the third slot, and Saka only lost one game in a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 4. Maria Gouveia took her clash at No. 5 in matching 6-2, 6-2 fashion.
 
The Saints do not play again until they host Missouri Baptist Monday, March 20.
