Quincy, Ill. –
Sydney Tiemann scored her 100th goal of the season as the Maryville women's lacrosse team completed the regular season unbeaten on the road with a 20-5 victory at Quincy. The Saints won all nine of their games away from home this year. Tiemann became just the third Division II player to register 100 goals in a season as she tallied six times against QU.
Reagan Rukstad had five points on a pair of goals and three assists, while
Helen Bae chipped in four scores.

The Hawks tallied the opening score of the game but the Saints responded with 11 straight goals. Tiemann tallied twice in a span of 16 seconds and notched a hat trick in just over three minutes with another score by
Lexi Taylor.

Skyler Jolie all found the net for a 7-1 advantage after the opening 15 minutes.

Jesse Hynes tallied in the first minute of the second before Jolie and Bae potted free position shots. Tiemann fired in another score as Maryville's lead ballooned to 11-1. After the Saints defense kept Quincy scoreless for 17 minutes, the Hawks finally scored again. Bae and Rukstad found the back of the net, and a late score by Jesse Hynes made it 14-3 at the break.

Quincy scored to make it 15-4 with 8:45 left in the third but Tiemann and Taylor tallied for a 17-4 cushion heading into the final stanza. Maryville closed out the game with three more goals.
