St. Louis – Fueled by its best defensive effort of the season, the Maryville men's lacrosse team shutdown Lewis in a taut 6-2 victory on a cold and blustery Saturday afternoon.
Reid Usrey rocketed in a season-high four goals to pace the offense. The Maryville defense blanked Lewis for the opening 26 minutes of the game. The two goals allowed are the second fewest in program history and the lowest surrendered since shutting out Quincy Feb. 27, 2021.
