Indianapolis – For the fourth time this season, Maryville senior Sydney Tiemann was selected the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, for the period ending Sunday, April 2, 2023. She helped the Saints remain unbeaten and improve to 12-0 on the season.
 
Tiemann fired in seven goals during a GLVC victory over McKendree. She helped the Saints break the single-game goals record with 24. Tiemann also accounted for the eventual game-winning goal. She spread out her goal scoring exploits and tallied at least once in every quarter. In addition to her offense, Tiemann tied for the team high with five draw controls and added two ground balls.

The undefeated Saints, who have moved up to No. 8 in the Nike/ USA Lacrosse Poll and No. 19 in the IWLCA, travel to Lewis Thursday, April 6, before hosting No. 6 Indianapolis at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8.
