The Maryville women's tennis team eased to a 5-2 victory over the University of Missouri-St. Louis Saturday in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match played at Dwight Davis Tennis Center

At No. 1 doubles,
Billur Gonlusen and
Carolina Velazquez grabbed a 6-0 win.
Maria Gouveia and
Nazli Saka also shut out their opponents 6-0 at No. 3 doubles as Maryville won the doubles point.

Gonlusen rallied 5-7, 6-2, 10-6 to win her No. 1 singles match.
Emily Orlove won at No. 3 via walkover, while
Victoria Lisson won her singles match at No. 5. 6-4, 6-2. Gouveia closed out her 2-0 day by cruising to a 6-1, 6-2 victory at the sixth singles slot.
