Mequon, Wis. – For the second straight game, the Maryville field hockey team tied the program record for goals in a 6-0 triumph at Concordia University. The Saints tallied six times in a 6-0 victory Saturday at Marian.
Tia Sansone tied the school record for points in a game with seven on two goals and three assists.

The Saints earned two early penalty corners before
Calista Crocker put the Saints ahead with her second goal of the season in the 11th minute of play. Just before the of the first quarter,
Florieke Spa doubled Maryville's lead to 2-0 with 23 seconds left. The Saints dominated the ball and did not allow a shot by Concordia. Five minutes into the second quarter, Spa picked up the assist as she fed
Tia Sansone for Maryville's third goal of the game. Sansone then was the helper as Crocker found the back of the net for her second on the day and a 4-0 advantage heading into halftime.

The Saints summoned more late-quarter magic as
McKenna Radley tallied her first career goal with five ticks left in the third off a Sansone assist. Sansone tacked on her second of the game to close out the scoring early in the fourth.
Liz Bierhals played the first half, and
Liz Hind was in the nets after halftime as the duo posted Maryville's third straight shutout.

The Saints win their second straight and up their mark to 3-1, to already match last season's win total. Maryville hosts its home opener Wednesday, Sept. 13, when Lincoln Memorial comes to town for a 2 p.m. contest.
