Springfield, Mo. – Three Maryville men's basketball players scored in double figures but the Saints lost at Drury 71-62 Thursday in Springfield, Mo.
Luke Williams led the way with 11 points, while
Ari Jackson and
JT Morgan both chipped in 10 points.
Tutu Chisholm yanked down a game-high 10 rebounds. Drury shot 51.9 percent in the second half to rally for the win.

Maryville scored six straight points to take an 8-2 lead which kept the Saints in front the rest of the first half. Morgan converted a layup, and
Dewayne Vass sank two straight buckets.
Anthony Holden made one free throw, and Williams sank a 3-pointer.
Trey Redd's driving layup was good for a 20-11 advantage. Later, Chisholm added two free throws as the Saints were still up 26-17. Drury edged back at the end of the half but Maryville still took a 30-26 margin into halftime.

The Panthers scored the first five points of the second half before a basket by Morgan and a 3-pointer by Jackson pushed the Saints back on top 35-31. Drury got hot from 3-point range and three consecutive triples gave the hosts a 40-35 cushion. Maryville responded with six straight points as another 3-pointer by Jackson was good for a one-point margin with just under 14 minutes to play. However, Drury put together an 11-2 run to take the lead for good. Jackson sank two at the line to pull the Saints to within 61-51 with 6:37 remaining to trim the deficit.
JT Morgan hit two free throws, and
Trey Redd's layup drew the Saints to single digits. In the final minute, one free throw by Vass brought the gap down to eight but the Saints never got any closer.
