St. Joseph, Mo. – Maryville's men's golf squad closed the Midwest Regional Tournament at St. Joseph Country Club Tuesday with a round of 305 to finish at 894, good for a tie in seventh place in the field of 17 teams. The Saints shot 298-291-305=894.

Max Hsu closed with a 74 and finished in a tie for 11th place overall at 217.
Quinn Thomas also posted a 74 in the third round and wound up at 222 for the tournament.
Andrew Rojas shot 76 in the final round and finished at 225, and
Hsiang-Chih Hsu closed at 232.
Javier Gil Blanco came home at 240 overall. Playing as an individual,
Zach Mesplay concluded the tournament with a final tally of 246.

Ferris State held on to grab the tournament at 857. Isaac To from Missouri S&T was medalist as he finished the three rounds at 209.

Maryville returns to the course Oct. 14-15 as the Saints play in the Doc Spragg Fall Invitational at Findlay Country Club in Ohio.
