Max Hsu won medalist honors at the Bearcat Dual Gender Tournament and helped the Maryville men's golf team finish second at Far Oaks Golf Club. He recorded rounds of 67-72-69=208 to top the field of 56 individuals by two shots. The Saints posted team scores of 314-304-329 for a three-round total of 947, trailing only host McKendree.

In round one, Hsu recorded five consecutive birdies and six in a seven hole stretch to punctuate his round of 67. After a steady second round that saw three birdies en route to an even-par 72, he followed up with a sparkling round of 69 in gusting and windy conditions, highlighted by four birdies and an eagle. For the tournament, Hsu carded 14 birdies and an eagle.

Inigo Epalza finished in the top 10 as he tied for eighth place at 218 (72-73-73), while
Javier Gil Blanco carded rounds at 74-80-71=225.
Andrew Rojas was one shot back at 226 (77-75-74), and
Quinn Thomas also finished at 226 with scores of 79-70-77.

Individually,
Hsiang-Chih Hsu posted at 230 (72-76-82), while
Zach Mesplay and
Daniel Boyle came home at 237 and 258, respectively.

The Saints close the fall season at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational Oct. 28-29 hosted by The Pearl Club in Owensboro, Ky.
