Wisconsin Dells, Wis. –
Keyyaun Batchman poured in 24 points for the Maryville men's basketball team but Michigan Tech rallied in the final minute to edge the Saints 88-84. The neutral site contest was held in the Wisconsin Dells. The Saints finished with four players in double figures.
Dewayne Vass added 19 points, while
Anthony Holden chipped in 15, and
Lucas Burton finished with 12 points. The Saints drilled 13 3-pointers in the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 11-5, the Saints embarked on an 11-1 outburst to surge into the lead. Lucan Burton hit a jumper to start the run before Batchman sank two straight buckets.
Lucas Burton's layup put Maryville ahead, and a triple by Batchman gave the Saints a 16-12 lead. Maryville stayed ahead and built a double-digit lead.
Anthony Holden splashed in a 3-pointer and a Burton dunk extended the margin to 34-24. The Saints eventually took a 47-41 lead at halftime.

Batchman converted a jumper for a 57-51 lead four minutes into the second until the Huskies scored seven straight points to sneak out front.
Dewayne Vass made one free throw, and a layup by Holden was good for a 60-58 margin. MTU rallied with another 7-0 run to snare a 65-60 advantage with 11 minutes to play. The Saints chipped away at their deficit and triples by Holden and
Trey Redd tied the game at 79-79 with 4:04 remaining.

Down by three, Batchman scored back-to-back layups for an 83-82 lead with 1:43 to play. However, the Huskies went back up on the next possession and led 85-83 with 21 ticks left. The Saints had two attempts to tie or go ahead but misfired, and Michigan Tech tacked on two free throws to make it 87-83. Maryville made one free throw but was unable to track down the subsequent miss, and MTU sank one last at the line to seal the win.
