Ashland recap
Tiemann fired in the season's first goal on a free position attempt to get the run started for the Saints. Less than a minute later, Kylie Pettus took a feed from Helen Bae and doubled the Maryville lead. Jessie Hynes scored at the 7:46 mark, and Natalie Tomljenovic tallied her first collegiate goal 25 seconds later. Reagan Rukstad deposited her first goal before Tiemann completed a hat trick with two goals scored 22 seconds apart. The Eagles finally got on the scoreboard at the 4:31 mark. Hynes and Tomljenovi answered with their second goals of the game, and Pettus closed out the first-quarter scoring at 11-1.

Maryville opened the second with two quick goals by Pettus and Tomljenovic before Ashland pulled one back. The Saints tallied the final three goals of the half for a 16-2 margin at the break. Maryville started the third quarter by scoring the first five goals and built a 21-2 advantage.

Pettus and Tomljenovic both finished with four goals, while Bae and Hynes both had a hat trick with three assists apiece. Jo Miles made two saves and allowed just one goal in net for the Saints. Maryville went a perfect 10-for-10 on clearance attempts.
