Trey Redd scored 14 points and handed out six assists to pace the Maryville men's basketball team to a 64-48 victory over Southwest Baptist.
Luke Williams added 11 points, while
JT Morgan finished with 10 points. The Saints gave up a season-low 48 points to key the defensive efforts.

The contest was tied at 10-all before the Saints scored eight straight points to take the lead. After one
JT Morgan free throw,
Trey Redd converted two straight drives. A
Luke Williams 3-pointer boosted the Saints up 18-10.
Tutu Chisholm scored inside before Redd drained a deep triple as the shot clock expired for a 23-12 margin.
Ari Jackson nailed a 3-pointer from the top of the key but SBU answered. However,
Davis Walker found the range from deep late in the half as the Saints took a 32-18 edge into the break.

The Bearcats made a push in the second half and cut their gap to 38-30 with 14 minutes to play. The Saints steadied themselves with six straight points. Morgan sank two free throws,
Anthony Holden had a layup, and
Tutu Chisholm's bucket was good for a 44-30 margin. Maryville's edge was still double digits at 48-38 before the Saints sealed the victory with a 9-0 run. Williams started the burst with two free throws, and Morgan followed with a three-point play. Williams hammered down a dunk in transition, and a
Davis Walker layup pushed the Saints on top 57-38 to put the game away.
