St. Louis – The No. 6 Maryville women's lacrosse team scored eight straight goals and charged past Alabama Huntsville 19-6 to stay unbeaten on the season.
Sydney Tiemann had five goals and two assists, while
Jessie Hynes finished with two goals and four assists.
Kylie Pettus had an outstanding all-around game with three goals, one assist, five caused turnovers, four ground balls and three draw controls. The Saints defense shut out UAH for nearly 20 minutes in the first half.

The Chargers scored the first goal of the gam but Pettus fired in a player-up chance to spark the 8-0 run.
Reagan Rukstad put the Saints on top for good with a goal at the 5:01 mark. Tiemann notched her first of the day, and Pettus added her second for a 4-1 edge after 15 minutes.

Tiemann scored 16 seconds into the second, with
Tia Sansone adding to the burst.
Olivia Sardina grabbed the ball on a clearing attempt and went all the way to goal and fired in her first score of the season.
Jessie Hynes tallied at the 6:12 mark to cap the outburst.
Natalie Tomljenovic scored to make it 9-2 before UAH finally scored again with 5:48 left. The Saints took a 9-4 advantage into the break.

The Saints took control in the third as Tiemann sandwiched two player-down goals around a score by Sansone for a 12-4 lead. The Saints quickly pushed the margin to double-digits early in the fourth and cruised to the victory.
