Liberty, Mo. – The Maryville women's lacrosse team set a program record with its 14thth consecutive victory as the Saints cruised past William Jewell 25-2 in a Great Lakes Valley Conference game Sunday. Twelve different Saints scored as Maryville gave up its fewest goals in a game since allowing just one to Quincy Feb. 17, 2023.
Jessie Hynes had four goals and set the school record with eight assists. Her 12 points tied the mark for most points in a game.
Sydney Tiemann fired in six goals.

Hynes opened the scoring rush with a goal just 45 seconds into the game. Tiemann tallied less than two minutes later as she would record a hat trick in the first quarter.
Natalie Tomljenovic deposited a goal before Hynes added a second.
Helen Bae and
Chloe Elliott both notched two goals apiece before the quarter ended.

Maryville tacked on eight more goals as the Saints stretched their advantage to 18-0 by halftime.
Tia Sansone and
Devyn Dimovitz tallied the opening scores of the third quarter as the Saints pushed their cushion to 20-0. The Cardinals finally dented the Maryville defense with a goal at the 6:34 mark.
