HAMMOND, IND. – The Maryville volleyball team capped play at the 2025 Midwest Crossover Tournament by rallying to down Davenport 22-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-18.
Ella Brinkmann and
Cami Kohmetscher both recorded double-doubles to pace the attack.

DAVENPORT RECAP
Davenport had its highest hitting percentage to take the opening set but the Saints responded with three straight wins. In set two, the Saints were down 8-7 before reeling off seven straight points. DU had two straight errors before
Mallory Sell served an ace. The Saints had a pair of blocks before a Brinkmann kill put the Saints up 14-8. The Panthers got within two points but Maryville tacked on three straight to even the score.

The Saints held a narrow lead in the third set before Brinkmann had two kills around a DU error for a 16-10 edge. Maryville put the set away with five straight points.
Hailey Levinson's kill started the run, and a block by
Ella Domian and Levinson pushed the Saints on top 21-12. Brinkmann's kill ended the set.

The final set saw Maryville leading 12-10 until scoring three straight. Domian started the run with a kill, and
Caroline Glastetter added her own kill. Another Domian kill was good for a 15-10 advantage. The Saints were still up 19-15 before seizing control.
Lily Brown had a kill before DU had an error.
Cami Kohmetscher tipped in a kill, and a block by Domian and Levinson build the lead to 23-15.
Ellie Witthaus' kill ended the match.
Brinkmann recorded 13 kills and 13 digs, while Kohmetscher handed out 24 assists to go along with 17 digs.
