ST. LOUIS — The No. 10–ranked Maryville Saints return home this weekend to host their annual Fall Showcase, welcoming three perennial ACHA powers to the Maryville University Hockey Center. The Saints will take on No. 4 Liberty, No. 6 Calvin, and No. 27 Arizona in a marquee non-conference slate leading into Thanksgiving break.
The showcase comes at a pivotal time for Maryville, which is emerging from the toughest stretch of its regular-season schedule. Over the past four weeks, the Saints have battled No. 2 Ohio four times, No. 3 Minot State twice, and competed in two NCAA Division I exhibition games against LIU. While the win column hasn't reflected the team's full effort, the Saints believe their trajectory is pointing in the right direction.
Head Coach and Director of Hockey John Hogan emphasized the group's resilience and growth through adversity.
"It's been a string of bad bounces, no question, but our guys continue to work and stick together," Hogan said. "Have been really proud of the progression our group has made the last three games. If we keep pushing, things will turn our way — and when they do, we'll be better for it in the long haul come March."
Maryville enters the showcase focused on clean execution, depth scoring, and taking another step toward the identity they hope will carry them deep into postseason play.
Showcase Schedule
