Saints Men's Golfers Finish in Ninth Place at 2025 GLVC Championships

BOLIVAR, MO. – Max Hsu finished in ninth place overall to highlight the Maryville men's golf team's efforts at the 2025 Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Golf Championships. The Saints lowered their score in each round and finished in ninth place after rounds of 308-297-296=901 at Silo Ridge Golf Club.
 
After an opening round at 69, Hsu posted scores of 72 and 77 to finish at 218. Quinn Thomas came home in second and made a late push for the Saints after posting 76-74-70= 220. He had four birdies in both the second round and third rounds.
 
Javier Gil Blanco posted a pair of matching 75s to finish his tournament at 231, while Hsiang-Chih Hsu was one more shot back and ended up 82-76-74=232. Andrew Rojas shot 81-79-77=237, while playing as an individual, Daniel Boyle carded rounds at 85-84-81=259
 
The four teams that advanced to the medal match play semifinal competition were Missouri-St. Louis (864), Missouri S&T (871), Lewis (872) and Indianapolis (880). Cody Donovan of Lewis took medalist honors and finished with a final total of 210.
