MANHEIM, PA – Eight members of the Maryville Wrestling team were named National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) 2025 NCAA DII Men's Scholar All-American on Monday.
The wrestlers are headlined by two national champions in
Ryan Herman—a four time Scholar All-American—and
Cole Ritter. Joining them are
Nick Baer,
Caden Gousetis,
Hudson Hackbarth,
Jeremiah Larson,
Lucas Laux and
Logan Rubinstein. For Larson it is his third such honor, while it is Laux's second.
These student athletes have excelled both on the mat and in the classroom, meeting one of the following criteria:
• All-American at the 2025 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.00 GPA
• National Qualifier to the 2025 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.25 GPA
• Competed in 4 or more events and 3.5 GPA
As a team, the Saints placed ninth, with a team GPA of 3.416. They finished second among GLVC programs, with University of Indianapolis in sixth and Drury in 13th.
