KANSAS CITY, MO. – The Maryville men's basketball team was tripped up Saturday at Rockhurst's Mason-Halpin Field House.
Henry Sanchez led the Saints with 18 points but the Hawks converted 12 3-pointers during a 104-65 win.
Noah Courtney finished with 16 points, and
Eric Hackett finished with 10.
Lincoln Palbicki grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds for the Saints.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Courtney scored the first points of the game for the Saints.
Kobe Clark sank a jumper but the Hawks went on a 15-0 run.
Greg Ballard splashed in a long jumper to end the run. Later,
Preston Clark scored inside before Palbicki scored and added a free throw. Sanchez took over the scoring as he rained in two 3-pointers and added mid-range jumper.
Kobe Clark tacked on a triple, and Sanchez added a jumper and a triple. Rockhurst hit half of its 3-pointers and took a 54-32 lead into halftime.

Eric Hackett and Palbicki converted back-to-back buckets give a spark to the Saints offense. Hackett scored and tack on a triple as Maryville tried to stay close. The Saints used a 7-2 run to chip away at the gap as Courtney scored two buckets and added three free throws. However, the Saints never not the gap below 20 the rest of the way as the Hawks held on for the victory.
