LEBANON, ILL. – The Maryville men's basketball team held a lead into the second half before McKendree rallied for an 88-71 win.
Henry Sanchez drained five 3-pointers and led the Saints with 17 points, while
Kobe Clark notched a double-double with 14 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Deadlocked at 32-32 late in the first half, Clark drilled a 3-pointer and added a three-point play for a six-point lead.
Raynard Horry sank two free-throws and later added a layup. McKendree scored late in the half to cut the Maryville lead to 42-38 at intermission.

Sanchez splashed in a 3-pointer for a 45-41 Maryville margin in the early moments of the second. Clark knocked down a jumper for a 47-46 lead three minutes after the break. McKendree used an 8-0 to finally take the lead before
Greg Ballard scored on a layup. Sanchez splashed in a triple to bring the Saints back to 56-52 with 13 minutes to go. However, Maryville went more than three minutes without scoring as the Bearcats slowly added on to their advantage.
