Noah Courtney and
Evan Palmquist both score more than 20 points apiece but Truman State kept the Saints at bay to record a 93-83 decision. Courtney had 23 points and nine rebounds, while Palmquist finished with 20 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Saints used a 9-3 lead to take an early 13-8 edge. Courtney and Palmquist drained consecutive 3-pointers. After TSU score, Courtney had a three-point play. Later, Palmquist splashed a 3-pointer before
Greg Ballard converted a layup and a triple to push the Saints ahead 23-17.

Eric Hackett scored on a bucket and
Kobe Clark made one free throw as Maryville's margin grew to 34-29. Truman went up by one before Hackett drilled a 3-pointer for a 37-35 lead. Truman went back on top after tallying eight straight points. The Saints got as close as 43-41 but the Bulldogs scored the last seven points of the half.

Sanchez and Palmquist scored early buckets to trim the gap down to 53-47. Still trailing by 10, the Saints made another charge with seven unanswered points. Sanchez scored on a layup, and Courtney finished a three-point play. Clark converted a layup as the Saints pulled to within 60-57. Maryville chopped the margin to just four with eight minutes to play. Sanchez hit two free throws, and a Ballard corner triple cut the Truman lead down to 70-66. The visitors stayed in front before a final push by Maryville. Courtney knocked down a jumper, and two free throws by Palmquist made it 89-83 in the final minute but Truman hit four straight free throws to stave off the Maryville charge.
