ST. LOUIS - The Maryville men's tennis team faced McKendree Saturday afternoon at Dwight Davis Tennis Center and emerged with a 5-2 victory Saturday.

The Saints took the early lead by garnering the doubles point.
Diego Alvarez and
Michel Delaloye won their No. 1 doubles match 6-3, while
Maksym Chernogorov and
Luca Morbioli took a 7-6 (7-5) thriller at No. 3 doubles.

Lorenzo Biava was victorious at No. 1 singles by a 6-3, 6-4 score. Delaloye took a three-setter at No. 3 with a 6-1, 5-7, 7-5 win. Chernogorov edged out a 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 win at No. 5 singles, while
Jack Quilty won in straight sets at No. 6 by a 6-1, 6-3 score.

The Saints are next in action as they take on city-rival Missouri-St. Louis in a match that will be held at Dwight Davis Saturday, April 18.
