Game 1 | UIndy 4, Maryville 2
Game one saw UIndy jump to a quick 3-0 lead in the top of the second, scoring via a bases loaded walk and a two-RBI double. An
Addison Koth single led right into the big swing for Wagner as she took the first pitch she saw deep to left center to cut the lead to one.
UIndy tacked on another in the fourth on a single, with Maryville unable to get any action on the basepaths for the remainder of the opener.
Game 2 | Maryville 8, UIndy 0
A RBI double in the top of the second gave the Greyhounds an early lead, one they never surrendered as Maryville only managed hits in the first, fourth and sixth, none resulting in runs.
A four-run sixth put the game into run-rule territory as four singles ballooned the lead to 8-0.
Jenna Kosnoff attempted to get something going in the bottom of the sixth with a one-out double, but the Saints fell short, dropping the second game of the twin bill.
