INDIANAPOLIS – The Maryville men's golf team took on a challenging field at the UIndy Invitational and finished in seventh place out of 17 teams in Indianapolis. The Saints posted team scores of 283-276-293=852 and finished 12-under par at Broadmoor Country Club.

William Cartier-Watchorn made a push in the final round for medalist honors and garnered third overall at 11-under par to garner All-Tournament honors. He carded rounds of 70-68-67=205 in the field of 92 golfers. He recorded seven birdies in round one and finished two-under-par. The second round saw him put up four birdies on the back nine holes and had just one bogey to card a 68. Cartier-Watchorn fired in three birdies over his first five holes and six in the final round that finished at a sparkling 67.

Andrew Rojas fired scores of 70-68-76=214 to finish second on the squad and in a tie for 20th overall. He had four birdies and one bogey in round one. Rojas eagled the 18th hole and put up five birdies to finish a round of four-under 68. He closed with three birdies over his final six holes.

Colin Pini came home with scores of 71-71-74=216. He recorded three birdies in round one and followed up with four more in his second round. Pini posted back-to-back birdies on 17 and 18 to highlight his round.
Louie Mortimer-Martinsen finished 75-69-76=220. His second round featured five birdies and an eagle on 12.

Riley Gudgeon had back-to-back rounds at par and finished 72-72-79=223. He had three birdies in his both of his first two rounds, including an eagle on the par-5 12th hole in the second round. Gudgeon notched consecutive birdies in his final round.

McKendree won the team title, and Cayden Kwan of Davenport claimed medalist honors.
