Biography

2015:  Finished the year with a 3.57 ERA and three wins…struck out 52 batters in 53 innings pitched while holding opponents to a .239 batting average… Made 9 of his 16 appearances were starts… 3/11 threw four innings picking up the win against Lincoln while striking out six… 4/10 pitched 3.2 innings of relief striking out six in a victory over Rockhurst… 5/2 threw a complete game shutout in a 2-0 victory of College World Series participant Truman State.

2014: Appeared in 10 games starting seven while throwing one complete game.  Finished the year 2-3 with 36.2 innings pitched and recording 31 strikeouts.  Had a complete game performance against
McKendree on 3/25/14 and followed that with a 7.2 innings pitched performance in a win against Missouri St. Louis the following week.


VonBehren on Gordon:
Without question, Gordo has some of the best stuff in the GLVC. When he is on he can be as dominant as any pitcher around. He has made himself who he is today through a lot of hard work in the last three years.  He goes about his work very business-like.
