Maryville University Athletics

2016:  Finished the year with a 3.77 ERA in 12 appearances.  Langford threw 14.1 innings while holding opponents to a .291 batting average. 3/13 in a win against Hillsdale threw 1.2 innings without giving up a hit and picked up a win in relief against William Jewell to complete the series sweep after throwing two scoreless innings.

2015:  Appeared in 16 games throwing 21.2 innings and striking out 12…finished the year with a 3-0 record…2/14 pitched 2/3 inning allowing no runs against #27 Trevecca Nazarene…3/11 started and picked up the win going 3 innings allowing 1 run against Lincoln University…3/18 earned win going 3 innings at McKendree.

2014: Appeared in eight games throwing 10 inning and striking out eight. Finished the year giving up only one run in last seven innings over six appearances.

High School: Graduated from Waubonsie Valley High School and was coached by Dan Fezzuoglio ... completed his senior year with a 5-2 record and a 2.52 ERA ... played summer baseball for the Downers Grove Longshots.

VonBehren on Langford:
Julian has grown so much since walking in the door. He has made it through a couple of injuries and I could not be more proud of who he is today. He has made some adjustments in the type of pitcher we thought he would be when he first arrived and I am confident he will have a great final year of his career.
