Maryville University Athletics

2017: Played in 46 games on the year while starting 45 of them... finished the year with a .297 batting average and 44 hits... scored 21 runs on the year... hit seven doubles and four triples... drove in 24 runs on the season... stole three bases.

2016:  Started and played in 47 games while playing multiple positions. Finished the year hitting .253 with three homeruns and 22 RBI.  His two run homerun against Lincoln on Feb. 6^th was a walkoff that led the Saints to a victory. Catlett swiped seven bases on the year as well.

2015:  Started 29 games in the infield for the Saints… 3/8 went 1 for 2 in victory over Hillsdale… 3/11 picked up RBI in victory over Lincoln…3/16 finished game 3 for 4 with one RBI and one run scored at Bellermine…3/22 went 3 for 4 with run scored against Illinois Springfield… 3/28 went 2 for 5 in a 9-3 victory against Drury…4/4 picked up 2 RBI against Rockhurst… Finished freshman year hitting .234 while fielding .960 at multiple infield spots

High School:  Played at Westminster High School for Rich Van Gilst.  Finished his senior season earning second team all-conference while hitting .330 with 24 RBI as his team won its fourth consecutive state championships.

Niedbalski on Cattlett:
“ Tyler, a senior leader who is fighting for a starting job in the outfield. Tyler is one of the kids who can see the game before it happens and is always in the right position on the field. If he is not starting he will come into the game for defense.
