Biography

2018: Played in 51 games while starting in 50 contests
          Had a .311 batting average with 52 hits in 167 at bats
          Had 11 doubles and was second on the team in triples with four
          Added six home runs with 27 RBI's on the campaign
          
2017: Played in 48 contests while starting 47 games
          Led the team in batting with a .345 average with 60 hits
          Led the team with 19 doubles and had three triples and seven home runs
          Drove in 34 runs and stole 14 bases.

2016:  Made seven starts in the outfield and first base. 
           Finished the season with a .390 On Base percentage while stealing three bases.

High School: Covert comes to Maryville from Marquette High School where he played for Coach John Meyer.  After a senior season that saw Covert hit .457 while scoring 29 runs and stealing 13 bases, he was named 1st team All-Conference, 2nd Team All-Metro, and Honorable Mention All-State.

He played for the St. Louis Recruits in the summer. Daniel is the son of Patrick and Vickie and has one brother Jack.
