2016-17: Saw action in 24 contests and started four times ... averaged 3.3 ppg and 2.2 rpg ... shot .550 from the field.

2015-16: Played in 24 games … scored 51 points and pulled down 34 rebounds … shot .657 (23-35) from the field … Academic All-GLVC honoree.
 
High School: The 6-foot-9 forward enjoyed a stellar senior season for Anglican Church Grammar School (also known as "Churchie") in Brisbane, Queensland.  Volkman averaged 17.2 points, 12.0 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game while leading Churchie to a championship in the Great Public Schools Association.  He was a member of the U-20 Queensland state teams that competed in the Australian Junior National Championships earlier this year.
