Biography

Brett will begin the 2014 season as the school record holder in career saves with (7), ranks second in complete games (three ) and strikeouts per nine innings (6.35), third in appearances (33), and fifth in innings pitched (85).

2013: Set school record for saves in a season (7), did not allow a run in last 17 innings pitched, finished season appearing in 15 games with 25 innings while opponents hit .242 against him.  Pitched a season high four innings against Drury in the GLVC Tournament and struck out a season high five against Pittsburgh State in February.

2012: Had nine pitching appearances, including six starts and three complete games...recorded an ERA of 5.89 with a 3-3 record...registered 19 strikeouts.

2011: Played in 9 games as a pitcher, starting in 5 ... Recorded an ERA of 9.13 with a 1-2 record ... Had eight at-bats.

High School: First-team All-Conference selection senior year and Second-team All-Conference honoree in junior season ... United States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award ... United States Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete Award .. National Honors Society member.
