Biography

2017: Appeared in nine games with three starts on the bump... Finished with a 3.97 ERA in 22.2 innings... Had 11 strikeouts and eight walks for the season.

2016:  Played at Zionsville High School in Indiana under head coach Jared Moore. Helped guide his team to the state championship game. He finished his senior year going 4-1 with a .51 ERA in 27 innings pitched.

Niedbalski on Pinegar:

“Ben had a great fall for us. He finally is the guy we saw when we recruited him. He has the great ability to throw his breaking ball whenever he wants, which makes him dangerous in our league. He will be battling for rotation spot this spring.
